Sean Rodriguez's past 608 AB's
I found this over at Halo's Heaven, and it got me pretty excited. I understand he played in an offensive league/ballpark, but these numbers are sick, especially for a super utility guy.
I2008-2009 in 608 ABs. (Keeping in mind that 608 ABs is about what a top-of-the-order guy gets in a full MLB season.)
.305 avg, .400 OBP, 147 runs, 50 HRs 145 RBIs, 17 SBs, 3 CS
(79 BBs against 161 Ks !!)

He's got great potential as a utility infielder and DH
for next season. I would be surprised if he didn’t start the year on the 25-man. Although I am surprised about Joyce spending the whole year in AAA, so what do I know.
We got a good haul in return for Kaz.

His wOBA+ is 125 and 128 the last 2 years in AAA.
that’s very good, but he obvioulsy isn’t the Ruthian player his statline indicates.
Perspective: Top 10 in the PCL and INT last year in wOBA+ (min. 200 PAs):
Player wOBA+
Jeff Clement 134
Nelson Cruz 132
Micah Hoffpauir 131
Paul McAnulty 129
Jason Dubois 127
Sean Rodriguez 125
Joe Mather 125
Prentice Redman 123
Jamie DAntona 123
Trot Nixon 122
Player wOBA+
Dewayne Wise 130
Jay Bruce 129
Jeff Bailey 128
Dan Johnson 127
Roger Bernadina 123
Mike Hessman 123
Adam Lind 123
Brian Buscher 123
Randy Ruiz 119
Justin Ruggiano 119

I'm happy we got him
I would love to trade Bartlett and start Briggy there
Trade CC and move Joyce or Zobrist there (other play in right)
Sean Rod at 2nd
And use the Barty/CC trade to net a killer catcher or some awesome minor league talent.
Can David Ortiz please send Dioner Navarro some of his PED's? K? Thanks

Think we almost have to cash in on Bartlett after this season
He’ll almost certainly never duplicate the offensive success, his defense isn’t what it was 3 years ago and he’s getting more expensive. Cheaper and potentially better options are available within the org. Sell high!
Another quick Rodriguez post to come at noon.

I'm curious to see what they will do
They sold on Kaz at his low but Delmon at his high. I wonder what they do with Barty/CC who both will be at their personal highs.

Stephen Strasburg...
But I’d settle for Matt Wieters and Mike Stanton.
