Does that matter?
When making up numbers, it’s best to just shoot from the hip, right?

I didn’t see any work showing how you arrived at those numbers. Forgive me for assuming that you just pulled them out of your ass. Of course if you did just make them up then don’t worry about forgiving me.

I have no problem with your clever nicknames
That one is very clever by the way. Over the last 3 weeks, which has been a weaker link, SP or Bullpen? Keep in mind our pen has thrown the 7th fewest innings in the Majors. LINK

That's a great point SK, only two teams in the AL
have thrown less—so please let’s hold off on the overworked threads
I don't know if it's something in the clubhouse, but like the bats, the bullpen seems to run hot or cold together
Either everyone is shut down or everyone sucks. That’s not looking at any numbers, just watching the games. It’s frustrating, because even when Joe makes the right moves, it’s blowing up in his face, and the next guy isn’t any better.

The entire team is in a funk
We score6 R in 2.2 I and don’t come close the rest of the game
I don’t get why Perez is in there, especially hitting LH
Like the other night against Verlander, Aki had a HR against him and he’s on the bench
You would rather have Kapler in CF?
It’s arguable, I just like Nando’s defense over Kapler. His LH drag bunt last night was a thing of beauty. Aki may be sore there is no way to tell. I imagine not playing for 2 months and then rushing back out there is going to leave a man sore and not feeling 100%

Probably not. I really like SS, but banking on getting anything with that pick is about as reliable as banking on McCown to unload the ball in under 6 seconds.

Honestly this is just typical Al Davis. Smart teams started trading down in the first round 2-3 years ago
So Davis tells his guys to get on the horn and get a good player for the 1st pick. Whoever has their hand up his ass needs to put the puppet down and move on.

Yeah
Maddon served up a hanger to Inge. These walks, home runs and hits lately aren’t being done by Maddon. He is using the crap he has
He has good relievers.
He put them into bad positions today.

by R.J. Anderson on Sep 6, 2009 4:23 PM EDT up reply actions
I think its just the fact that it seems our relievers this year, at least lately,
pick the worst times to shit the bed. Overall their stats and numbers look fine, but their mistakes seemed to be amplified by bad timing.
by BJ the Bossman on Sep 6, 2009 4:21 PM EDT up reply actions

by BJ the Bossman on Sep 6, 2009 4:23 PM EDT up reply actions
Yea, its always Maddon
Maddon made Balfour choke in Anaheim and Maddon made Balfour pitch around Granderson and Polanco hit a 3 run home run
He should have left Cormier in
but all these guys walking and coming in and getting hits is not his fault.
This isn't even real.
