Never happy when we lose a person right before the playoffs, but in this case I am ecstatic. Chris Richard was just called up.

Pena's done for the year.

damn
Well at least the season is already over, I bet Pena will be at the ballpark everyday (medical reasons withstanding) though unlike Mr. Percy.

If Sonny does one thing in Gm 2--he smokes A-Rod with a pitch
only bad thing is at 82 mph, it wouldn’t do much

Why would he do that?
The pitch that hit Pena was clearly unintentional.

Good for him
Richard’s never going to be more than a marginal major leaguer, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is his only cup of coffee, but he worked his ass off to get into the encyclopedia and to earn a few weeks of solid paychecks. Congrats Chris, and make these few weeks count – a strong showing and they might keep him on the 40-man this offseason, which is about a $40k raise.

He's easy to confuse with Jon Weber
Weber has played pretty much everywhere except the majors.
Anyways, the whitey’s all look the same.
