First Rays Game This Season

Hey, guys. I just joined this site so I'm not sure where everything goes and all. I became a Rays fan back in 2003 whenever I really started following MLB (and Rocco Baldelli). I have been browsing around this site for awhile and finally decided to just now register.

Anyways, I'm applying to the Florida State Highway Patrol and will need to be in Orlando soon and I really would like to catch game one of the Mariners at Rays series. The last time I was at The Trop was back in 2006 after I graduated from high school so I could catch my first Rays games (they swept the D'backs and I lost it whenever Rocco homered) and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on tickets, because I don't know if The Trop has changed since then.

Thanks!

Trop's about the same, just cleaner

make sure you get your tix in advance (walk up surcharge of a couple of bucks per ticket), Ebay is a good place to get ‘em cheaply. Also good luck on the Highway Patrol academy, and let 75-77mph on the highway slide, ever since the econ. went down the crapper i’ve got a lot of friends getting tickets for going 3-7 over when 9-10 used to be the threshold to get FHP out of their hiding spot.

Parking is $15 @ the Trop.

The tickets are a lot more then they used to be. I would suggest, because I doubt that the M’s will draw more then 14,000, to buy Partydeck seats ($8) and move to a closer seat. Congrats on the Highway patrol job. We wish you the best. Enjoy the game and go Rays!

There are boatloads of free spots around the Trop

Can we get robots for umpires and a computer to make in game strategy decisions? I'm sick of inconsistently bad umpiring and Joe's pitiful in game management. Oh and Navi (and BJ) need some PED's. BenZo, Bartlett, and Pena do not.
