4/23 Rays Fall 6-5 To Jays At Home (12-5)
Zobrist and Bartlett's play are getting ridiculous. I'm in the process of reading 'Moneyball' and what i've learned is that continually swinging out of the zone (Zobrist) is a quick exit out of MLB. I am concerned about Zobrist or any player with such a limited record pf success.

Our running game probably kept Morrow in the game a couple extra innings.

To win 95 games we need to play 563 baseball the rest of the way--should be doable.

It's becoming more and more difficult for me to bitch about anything--is this good? With Barty, this site is waiting for him to fail, yet will point out a 10 pitch K by Zobrist as a thing of beauty. Briigy cannot hit LHP. Just a guess, DRB will wait till late September before any attack post besides mine will be rendered on Zobrist, who at this point is more of a #8 hitter than a 3. I'm a big fan of his as you know, but all the things that got him to the dance have vanished, with plate disciplone being the most visible. I'm rooting for him, but alwasy cautious on a late bloomer with limited success. Here are some slash line predictions: Zo 285/365/420, Barty 285/350/420.
