Since I'm not the statistical expert, perhaps I can ask the questions so we can get the stats all piled up and sorted so we can get a good idea how the Rays are going to fare in the 2010 Postseason.
What's your favorite color? Ow, okay. How important was getting home-field advantage in the playoffs in the American League? Weren't the Rays able to beat the teams that made it (Texas, New York, Minnesota) on the road during the regular season?
Subset A: How's the Rays batting vs. the Rangers' starters?
Subset B: How's the Rays pitching vs. the Rangers' bats?
Subset C: What are the intangibles? Any injured players for both teams we need to make note of? (for example, Josh Hamilton is supposed to be coming back off injury for Texas, right?)
Question Three: Say the Rays beat the Rangers and head to the AL Championship series. Which of the other two teams - Yankees versus Twins - do we want to face? Which team provides the more favorable match-up to Tampa?
Subset A: Which team - Yankees or Twins - look most likely to reach the ALCS?
Question Five: Can the Rays really win the World Series?
