But Barnese has strikeout potential; his K/9 was 11.5 in HV in 2008. Maybe at the higher levels he’ll stay around the 7.5 range, but my theory is the shoulder injury at the beginning of the year hindered his stuff some.

This
his fastball supposedly has good life despite middling velocity, and his breaking ball flashes plus. I wouldn’t expect him to light the world on fire, but I don’t think he will be challenged in any way trying to miss more bats.
