OK. I'm starting the deep DRB keeper league with farmies.

Two options:

A. We do it for cash, people paypal me, and then I send them the pw or whatever. 25 buck entry-fee this year. We do it on CBS commish which costs $160, and is IMO the best option (especially for other people doing leagues on there). First 160 goes to that, from there we decide on payouts. Assuming we can get 16 peeps, that will leave an extra $240 for the pot. We could up the money or people. THIS IS MY PREFERENCE, but if we can't 16-20 people to do this we go option B.

B. Same formats, but we do it on ESPN/Yahoo. This would be a free league more than likely.

I'll play

Option B on yahoo is my preference, but I would most likely still play if it was a pay league.

I really don’t like ESPNs fantasy setup.

My issue with yahoo.

I’m already commited to 4 teams that are on yahoo. That’s the max I think.

I like option A.

I would have a hard time holding interest in a free league.

This.

Also, just my two cents

but I like being able to draft prospects during the regular draft. That way if someone REALLY wants Strausburg they can have him.

Don't lie.

You’re just trying to cover up now. TOO LATE! I’m getting Strasburg in the first round, now!

Snus is the worst

When it first came out I got a can for free at a bar and put the whole thing in my mouth hoping that I would go into convulsions and could sue, I swallowed as much of that stuff as I could handle and just got white as a ghost and turned into a zombie for 3-4 hours. Nicotine poisoning sucks.

LOL

ya you gotta swallow like every ten seconds or drink water with it, but after nearly getting fired for (fake) talking on my cell phone at work to hide a lip, i’ll take the alternative.

Funny.

But seriously, I’ve got dibs. I’m a returning champ. It’s my right.

I'd prefer B just because I'm a fantasy n00b

But I don’t really have a problem with losing $25.

by ChiBurbRaysFan on Feb 26, 2010 6:02 PM EST reply actions

Option A

If you guys are looking to fill out the league I would be interested if its run through CBS.

Count me in

I’m in for either option. Wouldn’t mind winning some dough, that’s for sure . . .

I have my first pay league draft through CBS tomorrow.

It looks like I have the 2nd pick. I’ll take it!

I would be in for a free league. Still new to it and I’m not a saber junkie so I doubt I would finish well

Knowledge of Sabermetrics has a limited effect in fantasy games. Fantasy games are all about results.

I miss George Steinbrenner. He was the man responsible for keeping the Yankees competitive.
