Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

The Rays need to just hire this guy already. I don't want someone else snatching him up.

Also, apparently he has a book coming out in May.

Let's hope the next Zobrist is Ruggiano

He went to Cevallos too right? and he is having a great spring(FWIW)

He has options right. If he keeps it up I would love to see him get an extended stint in the majors

This year would be his final option

If he can fix that hole in his swing and improve his discipline he can possibly land a reserve OF role next year. For his career in the minors he has actually OPSed better vs. RHP.

They started working together this offseason.

However, I don’t know how much or if they are still training.

Seriously spend some money on this guy...

And hire him to be minor league hitting instructor.

Do it!!

I met Jaime at the coaches’ convention in Dallas this January. I believe in what he teaches and have begun to teach my hitters at UT the same (we use the swing mechanic and everything).
