2010 Zips Projections
Dan just posted these over at Baseball Think Factory. You can download the Excel workbook from that link. I've also created a google.doc that calculates wOBA, wRAA, ISO, & FIP, as well. I had to apply a little bit of guess work as he doesn't use plate appearances. For this number, I am using AB+BB+HBP+2.13+2.96. The last two numbers are based on the average of SH & SF, respectively, for the top 300 batters by plate appearance in 2009. You will find a separate tab that lists only the Rays batters and pitchers. I used those same 300 batters to come up with a league average wOBA of .3255 in 2009. This might put it a little high since it omits most of the weakest batters, but feel free to use your own numbers. Here's the LINK

I don't think that wOBA is low
League average is usually around 330 isn’t it?
