Normally I tend to skip these types of post, but since we all use and love Fangraphs, I decided to pass this note along.
This afternoon SBN and Fangraphs will launch a partnership on Fangraphs.com as well as all the SBN baseball sites. You won't notice much, but you will see headlines that will link you back to Fangraphs on the right-hand sidebar similar to the ones you see for Yahoo. When you go to Fangraphs, you will also notice some headlines from SBN sites.
In addition to the headline swap, select SBN stories will appear on player pages on Fangraphs. Say we do an in depth look at Matt Garza and his swinging strike percentage, there is a chance the story will show up on Garza's player page on Fangraphs. For the player pages on SBN, there will now be a link to his FG stats.
If nothing else, it makes R.J. part of the extended family again.
