Minor League Highlights 5/29
AAA Durham Bulls L 6-4
Carlos Hernandez struggled out the gate, and the offense never could quite catch up tonight despite Chris Richard's 5-5 night with three doubles (20). Justin Ruggiano and Dan Johnson were each 2-5, with Ruggiano hitting his eight double. Desmond Jennings continued his struggles going 0-6 with three strikeouts.
AA Montgomery Biscuits L 3-0
Alex Cobb allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk in five innings while striking out six. Cobb induced a strong 13 whiffs on just 74 pitches and leads the team in swinging strike % at 13.5%. Darin Downs came on in relief and struck out seven hitters in 3 innings while allowing two hits and two walks, one intentional. Downs got both of his battted outs on the ground, and induced 11 whiffs on 52 pitches. The offense scattered six singles, with no Biscuit having more than one. Matt Sweeney was 1-4 with two strikeouts.Pitcher Paul Phillips went on the disabled list with bicep tendonitis.

A Bowling Green Hot Rods L 3-2
Aaron Dott made his second start allowing two runs on five hits and three walks in 5.1 innings while striking out six. Kirby Yates lost the game in bizarre fashion in the 10th when the leadoff man reached on error, followed by a walk, a productive out, and an intentional walk. Yates proceeded to hit the next batter with a pitch to allow the go ahead run to cross the plate. Brett Nommensen led the offense with a 2-3 effort including a walk and his 9th double. Ty Morrison was 2-4 with his 6th triple, while Chris Murrill hit his first professional home run. Dustin Biell was hit in the face by a pitch when he squared around to bunt and had to leave the game.

Are you saying he should become fashionable or elitist or snarky or condescending? Is he supposed to adopt logical fallacies as his core technique of debate? Is he supposed to bleat religious proclamations and claim they are "proved" by statistics when they aren’t?
