In the early days of horse racing,they had a rope at the start of the race and a paid off SOB at the finish line.It killed the sport.They overcame that tradition,and now have a starting gate and a photo finish.Now when you go to the race track, you know you are going to see the best win.Screw the tradition,I want to see the best win a baseball game.
