I know you're trolling, but I'll bite
Talbot is far from a stud. The second you used ERA to defend him should have given it away. Quit being so offensively stupid about everything.

And yesterday i was told Talbot's BABIP was UNSUSTAINABLE
well look out Rays because Niemann and Price’s are lower and Garza a couple ticks above, so if this holds true for Talbot it surely must hold water for our Rays SPs, and with our offense in a season long tank, we are in deep doo doo

One more note on this BABIP stuff
I looked at the BABIP and LD% of Price, Niemann, Talbot (low BABIP) and Shields (high) and found a striking difference in their LD%
Seems more LDs equate to more base hits—shocking
Except that MLB pitcher LD rates over time are largely out of their hand (20%ish)
Give up much more than that for long periods and you won’t last. I’ve been saying all year our starting pitching couldn’t maintain the level of results they were achieving. However, none of our starters have K:BB of 1 like Talbot. If you rely that heavily on balls in play for your outs in major league baseball you will allow runs.

I'm all for permabaning him anytime you guys want.
Therefore, I should be ignored completely, because I’m a blithering idiot.
When John Jaso strikes out twice in a game, he becomes Kohn Kaso, which is Spanish for "with cheese."

Not sure if this has been covered before...
But it appears that Tommy Rafferty has retired from the game and is no longer playing for Charlotte.
Rafferty, Shawn Williams and DJ Jones have all retired this year

I'm looking forward to seeing the other affiliates start their seasons soon.
Time to see what Glaesmann, Bailey and Malm can do. It will be interesting to see if the Rays draft in a similar fashion to last year with more bats being taken in the early slots.
