Carlos Pena Breaks Rays' All-Time HBP Record
From the folks at Plunk Everyone, a site dedicated to following HBP records and leaders (I kid you not):
Carlos Pena got hit by a 4th inning Brad Thomas pitch last night, and that was the 27th time in Rays history that they'd been plunked by a Tigers pitcher. More importantly than that, it was the 700th plunk in Rays franchise history. More importantly than that, it was the 36th plunk of Pena's Tampa Bay career (52nd overall) which means that he is now the number 1 plunk target in Rays history! Pena's 36th plunk bests the previous record of 35 by former Ray Johnny Gomes.
I don't remember hearing this mentioned during the broadcast and I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, so kudos to Plunk Everyone for breaking the story. Pena's already our franchise's leader in total offensive output, slugging percentage, OPS, walks, homeruns....and now he can had hit by pitches to his resume.
Congrats Carlos!

Too bad this is such a boring topic so no one is looking at this thread, because great interplay between posters itt
The caller said the boy, after removing the bulb from its socket, left the building and threw the bulb on the ground. When the bulb broke, the caller said the boy screamed "Free the slaves at traffic stops from false arrest and jury fixing"
