Garza: "Becoming the first Rays player ever to pitch a no-hitter has been a great experience. I really couldnt have done it without the support from my team. To thank them for their nine innings of hard work, I decided to give them a personalized embroidered bag and bottle of Crown Royal Black. That way, we can all celebrate together when enjoying the new whisky."

I DID THIS EARLIER IN THE SEASON AND HE GOT SHELLED. NO THANKS FROM ME.
Also, anybody actually tried Crown Royal Black? How does it compare to stock Crown Royal? (I do not like regular Crown Royal, taste is fine enough but I always feel sick immediately when I take a shot).
So I should just change my sig to

I like Crown but didn't notice much difference in CR Black.
Has anyone sampled Crown Royal XR?
Yep
It’s their best one in my opinion. Very smooth, a little sweet. But I’m more of a bourbon/scotch guy and don’t usually drink much of that Canadian stuff.

Me too. Me too.
Coming back from Bolivia last year they had the best Macallen prices. Got 18 year for some absurd price. Gotta love the single malts.
Crown is too sweet
Makers Mark or Woodford Reserve is where it’s at. Except Woodford isn’t worth the price IMO. Makers is just simply amazing though — definitely my drink of choice for taste/value reasons.
Looooove Makers

It's aged in double charred oak barrels, so it has much more body to it.
I like it much more than regular crown because it does have an almost bourbon-like finish to it. The extra body from the charred oak balances out very nicely with the extra alcohol (90 proof instead of 80 proof). I’m not a big crown royal fan, and I thought it balanced out nicely, had a subtle, rounder finish to it, and was actually smoother. Personally, I’d still rather get a nice bottle of bourbon, but everybody’s palate is different.

My question is, "What is it going to take for you to send me a different bottle of recommended whiskey each month?"
I’ll hang up and listen for your answer.

Hen houses only have one cock in them, but yeah seems like you got what I was going for here.

Depends on the size of the Hen House.
I should have said Hen Mansion.
