So wait... Sonny being optioned or Cormier DFA'd?
Can’t find anything on this. What are the bets? I guess a Kapler DFA isn’t out of the question, but since Sonny hasn’t been used in almost two weeks, it makes sense that they’d option him. Then they can bring him up come September.
Or maybe Zobrist is heading the DL…

This opens a lot of options
These are a few options Madden has before him
1. Making a great bullpen now dominating,
2. Making spot starts to keep the other starters fresh come playoff time
3. Moving a struggling starter to the pen and Hellickson steps in

I would love to see Cormier move instead of sonny. IF they option Sonny the wise move would be to start him. A great performance here on out and some teams might reconsider him as a potential starter in trade,
