Zobrist Decline

To say that Ben Zobrist isn't struggling is like saying the Titanic is only taking on a little water. From July 1, 2010 until yesterdays game, Zobrist has hit .169 with an OBP of .316 and a slugging percentage of .235 (OPS = .551). This span of time covers a total of 212 plate appearances. Question has to be whether or not Zobrist can "find" it by the post-season and second is it worth Maddons effort to find out? This isn't a Zobrist bashing post, but I can't help but wonder if this is an example of a manager sticking with a guy way past the point of struggling based on past success.
A little stat fun about Zobrist season. I ran a metric on b-ref about guys who hit <.250, draw 90 walks, and have less than 10 HR. I ran the metric from 1980 til today.

Is his defense really that much better?
’m not sure Zobrist is that much better defensively than Rodriguez at 2nd and Joyce in right.
He brings about a valid point considering the other options the Rays have.
I’d stick with him based on the past two years, but the choice isn’t that clear cut.
