Rays interested in Votto?
Doubtful and one of the few trades where we would have to trade more than Shields but hey, who knows.

I don't know about the Rays giving up more than Shields
Talent wise they probably can be “reputed” as equals (6 WAR both). But Votto costs more and will be a free agent in 2 years. I can see AF coaxing a prospect from the Reds as well.
