Phone statement from Jose Molina about signing with the Rays. Always interesting to hear a guy discuss his situation. As discussed in length in the Report: Jose Molina Officially Signs with Rays there is a general enthusiasm for this signing and an agreement that this is a very good move for the Rays. There is some disagreement over whether or not the Rays seek another seasoned catcher or if they go with Lobaton or Chirinos with Molina being the guide for the young catchers.

a huge doubter that he will play anywhere close to 100 games.
I am never going to doubt that he will profess to be ready to play 120 games.
