I was concerned last season would have been the highlight of the series, but the quality of the writing has really taken off.
Not just the dialogue (Art’s exchange with Raylan was terrific), but the direction they’re taking the characters. Boyd really is just an outstanding character in every capacity.
The fact that there’s real menace in the show makes it even better.
Goggins is great. He was great in The Shield, and even better here.

Probably not far out of his wheelhouse.
I thought the scream was a little cheesy, but justified (!!!!) considering the way he’s tried to stay under control and out of sight throughout the season. Goggins is just terrific at showing someone curling up deeper and deeper into themselves, trying desperately to conceal their rage and disgust.

There's really nothing to discuss about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
It’s a terrific satire of the hippie generation’s excesses and delusions. It’s Thompson’s most enduring work (though not his best).
Not a lot of layers in there, though.

Parallels is painfully slow, you're better off finding a way to run everything in Mac
But as an example, I’m running A/V for a convention, dude hands me a handful of CDs. They’re WMA files, so I look up how to convert them to Mac-compatible and all I have to do is drag them into iTunes. I couldn’t stand iTunes at first, but it’s much better than anything that Microsoft puts out. I was alway a K-Lite man, but I’m slowly getting learnt on this new stuff

I have no problems reading off my iPhone screen, it's crystal clear and I've yet to feel any eyestrain, I feel a lot dumber when I go from accomplishing something on my phone then pulling out my kindle
Also, 95% of my book reading is done between the time the pilot says turn off all devices and when he says you may now use electronic devices. I can only use a real book during that time.

I took a couple of classes at SPC when I came down for a summer during college.

Saw Animal Kingdom and wasn’t that impressed. It was good but not great. I don’t get some of the plot development. Why did the cops just straight up murder the dude at the beginning and how in the heck does a random cop getting killed lead them straight back to the family? I did like the mother’s coldness but overall it left me wanting a lot more.

I was dealing with a fussy baby for a good part of it, so there's a chance I missed an important piece of dialogue here or there.
My other problem with it was the terrible sound quality. I couldn’t hear what the hell they were saying but every gun fight or song was loud as hell. There was one specific scene when they were talking in the bathroom and the shower was louder than the dialogue. I couldn’t even turn on the dang captions cuz the kid lost the DVD remote and the damn brighthouse remote won’t sync to the DVD player. FML

Their perimeter defense was already good. Perkins was their best rebounder outside of KG, whose numbers have dipped this year.
They are not a good rebounding team, and that is the reason the Lakers beat them last year.
