PECOTA, Reintroduced
Baseball Prospectus has released this year's PECOTA forecasts. This is the forecasting system that has had [a few months ago] the Rays winning 98 games as the Wild Card.
Oh, and the Sawx finishing 3rd.
PECOTA also has Dan Johnson and Manny Ramirez over .820 OPS -- improvements of > .100 for both the DH and 1B spots in 2010.

Showing a last updated 9/11 on those standings
I’m thinking they don’t completely reflect the off-season.
in fact, I've been told that update comes out a week from today

Ah, okay. I was having trouble deciding the time stamp.
I assumed it meant the 9th of January, 2011.
That makes much more sense.
Still — DJo and Manny look not terrible in PECOTA.

DanJo looks amazing in it. His top three comparable players are pretty sweet.
I love Casey Fossum. Now try and take me seriously.

Erik's going to have an article later.
But in short: Giambi, Konerko, and….erm, I forget the final one.
