but Friedman will add another late inning reliever, whether now or by the trading deadline. The Rays, due to not spending near the 45-50ish mil projection will have money to spare at the deadline so they can be opportunistic. The Rays have added relievers this way (Bradford, Springer,etc) and usually find a way to add another arm. Would love it if the Rays can convince the A’s to part with Wuertz. Would bring a different look to the pen.
