I didn't think I'd owe that much, I was running off last years quarterly estimates and I made more money this year

This is kinda where I'm at.
I don’t buy the 27% line drive number, but I think it’s a good proxy for showing that Joyce has been scorching the ball a lot recently. I think the larger point is that his BABIP seems more driven than hitting the ball right at people rather than poor hit balls, and that’s something the jives with my eyes.

And further I’m not sure I don’t buy that his LD% is 26%. Granted scorer error could play a role, but the difference between 1 mis-scored and not is pretty big. Either way, a fliner is still a well-hit ball.

So far I've added Hafner for Sizemore's DL, added Lyle Overbay for stupid autodraft Carlos Lee, added Jose Lopez for Longo's DL
and then dropped him for Michael Brantley. Now I feel no loyalty to Hafner, Overbay, or Brantley and am free to add players that I think are going to have favorable matchups over a week or play the hot hand or whatever. BTW, Lee, Gordon, and McGehee are fairly expendable

You're dead wrong on Gordon I think.
Is Overbay worth owning, at all? I think McGeehee will sort itt out. He was a free keeper, and hes chipper-insurance. Lee is what he is. Expendable, but not much at 1B in an avg over obp league.
His OBP is useful and he'll add a double here and there. Like I said, I keep em until I can replace em.
There’s no transaction limit so why sit on a mountain of arrogance that my draft was so great when I can add marginal upgrades for short term periods and try to keep doing that. They don’t always pay off and sometimes I drop a guy at the wrong time, but it sure as shit makes it a lot more fun

in AA. As I’ve been saying, if the strikeouts are legit and it doesn’t affect his great GB rate then he could be useful. So far it looks like he’s showing the K-rates, but I thought you were smarter than putting a ton of stock in two starts.
