Game notes:
- Zobrist hit a 2-run homer (right handed) in the 1st that ended up being the only runs scored by either team.
- Shieldsy looked absolutely dominant pitching the complete game. Final line: 9 IP, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7K. He had an excellent pickoff of bautista in the 9th. 2nd complete game in a row. Absolutely beautiful performance.
- Bautista dives away from any pitch that is even remotely close to inside. Oh yeah he finally made a couple outs today. Go him.
- Sam Fuld. Golden Sombrero.
- Tomorrow is an off day. Next game is Tuesday in Minnesota against the Twins. 8:10 ET start. Wade Davis up against Fransisco Liriano.
