I didn't use fancy stats or big words, that isn't really my thing although I appreciate everyone who does and explains them on this site and others. I did however put together some stats from early in the season on Andrew Friedman's work this off-season. It has been pretty remarkable. Not only has Andrew and all of his super powers created the Legend of Sam Fuld, he has once again created a dominant 1-2 punch at the back of the pen with Peralta and Farnsworth, while last years 1-2 punch has been well umm horrible. LF and 1B the two big holes have seen big plays from both Kotchman and Fuld while both Pena and Crawford struggle to OPS over .500. Jason Bartlett who at the time seemed to be thrown to the Padres for some guys who may or may not be able to help the bullpen at some point, well now all 3 guys are in the bullpen and have been very very good. And Bartlett, just like the other 2 is barely OPSing over .500. I know SSS is in full effect and everything could change by the end of the year but for now lets sit back and enjoy the glory of Andrew Friedman.
