DRaysBay Fantasy League - Join On Up

I know we have multiple ESPN leagues floating around out there, but I've always been somewhat disappointed that we can't have one league for everyone - Slam Pigz and Lurkers alike - to compete against each other in. But finally, I think I've solved that problem and created a league everyone can join: the DRaysBay Pick Six League.

Pick Six is a quick daily game created by Niv Shah over at FanGraphs, and the basic premise is that you pick six players each day and try to accumulate as many points as possible. You have a $120 budget to work with, and players cost different amounts depending on how valuable they are and how often other people have selected them.

Points are awarded based on how each player performs on the field that day -- you can find a full list of what every on-field event is worth here.

It's free and simple to join, and you can compete against a whole slew of DRB writers: me, Collette, Hanselman, Brad, CB Jones, and Erik. As time goes along, I'm hoping to run some of our DRB promotions using this league, so join on up if you want a chance at winning prizes down the road this season.

How do I pick the players

When I click Find C or Find CI it just says Selecting C but nothing pops up

Hmm, maybe it's a flashblock issue? I used Chrome and didn't have any problems

Sooo...apparently Pick Six is having some issues at the moment.

It should be back up shortly, but the picking screen is broken right now.

And Sveet, if you notice, there are leaderboards based on all different time frames: day, week, all-time, etc. I just added admins to the league Saturday, so it’s not like any of us have a huge lead over anyone else. For Jone, Kaz, and Collette, its all their first times.

That's the idea.

There are some “achievements” for getting lots of points without spending much money, but I normally try to spend as much of it as possible. Might as well.
