Would you say he is tired of AA?
I'm not sure if you're serious...If you are, the reasons are simple:
1) Dutton’s xBABIP has to be input by hand, so it takes a long time to calculate.
2) I do this for free.

Seriously
You need a hobby. Following all my posts with the same joke is as you would say, tired.

Yea I want to see this guy pitch already
There is like no video of him online at all.
No matter how much they are hyped, my teams always find a way to disappoint.

I remember I watched one start on milb.tv in 2009
One SAL team had milb.tv capabilities and he made a start there

Well, we haven't announced it yet
But the Rays have signed another 2 1st rounders in Jeff Ames and James Harris. 6 more to go including those awesome top 2 picks we made.
Anyway, we have already signed 5 of our 11 supplemental picks. Not bad for a draft that didn’t end too long ago.

I'm not really that high on Ames
It seems like they had pre draft deals with most of these guys

Great night for Moore
still not confidence he will get the AAA call-up before Archer, but the Rays may move them both up together.
I love the strikeouts, but they're causing him to only be able to pitch into and occasionally through the 6th most nights
Nice to see him get the no-hit CG, obviously, but our big league staff has 5 guys that can go 7-8 innings most nights if needed. Don’t take this as me poo pooing a good night as he deserves a round of applause, but I think he still has some things to work on. I’m glad the RFO is patient as he may still need some time in AA to work on things like this before getting that final coat of polish.

It would help if his competition could hit his stuff.
Its not like he is trying to strike out every batter. Guys in AA just can’t hit his stuff.
Don't get me wrong I love it, I could just see a groundswell of people wanting to call him up to the Rays with Davis's early struggles and I think he still has some things he can work on

Yes, Jeff Niemann can go 7-8 innings most nights.
But I get your point.

You're right
Matt Moore has 420 career innings so if you subtract 69 strikeouts (so shorter ABs) he’d be averaging more innings per start

he might need to get to AAA to be able to work on that
This way he could have up to a year and a half (or more if needed) at the AAA level.

This
As long as his walk rate is good, what are you going to do? Tell him to STOP throwing pitches that hitters are swinging and missing at?

I don't know what the answer is, but he sounds an awful lot like bad Scott Kazmir or Brandon Morrow
Looooooove that he’s brought the walk rate down which was the bane of both of those comparisons, but I hate seeing my pitcher doing really well but at 100 pitches into the 6th and has to get yanked. I love a guy like Halladay that can dial up the strikeout when he wants, but can also throw groundballs early in a count. That’s a complete pitcher and that’s why he’s the best.

Anyone know how many pitches he is normally throwing?
They don’t have him go 100 yet, right? So he probably should be going an inning or two more per start, right?
Via Stacy Long
The 106 isn’t much more than his recent workload. Moore threw 95 and 94 pitches, respectively, in his last two starts and had an extra day’s rest before the no-hitter because of Tuesday’s off day. (His previous strike high was 63, by the way.)

are you saying you want him to strike out less?
there aren’t many predictors of major league success in minor league numbers, but K rates are a decent one. exceptionally high k rate in the minors usually equates to big league success, i think he’ll be just fine doing what he is doing right now.
