Where could they be?

Just thinking about it I think management gave up on the year to "rebuild".  Rays definetly had the resources to win this year.  What about some more Jennings, bringing  in a former Crawfordlike 20+ Hr 50 SBs and the great defense from center to left(no offense Fuld but you got to hit too). A little more Moore I mean I would of gave him a chance right after the futures game and K'n 2 an inning at every level is a little more impressive than Davis or Niemann.  I think Cobb  can really pitch so their could of been a spark or 2 acquired at the deadline for one of the starters.  What if Manny was behind Longo would they be 2 back or 2 ahead, could of brought in some power bat(I think Wily Mo Pena would of looked good in a Rays uni).  I mean I hope they can make it, but they could of made more efforts to contend during the season instead of playing the resilient catch up card at the last minute.  Friedman should have like15- 20 mil stashed away somewhere and don't want to wait til 2018 to see the results.
