I'm still in shock that the Yankees so blatantly handed the second game of the doubleheader away to the Sox, tossing Scott Proctor to the wolves in the 14th inning. But hey, at only one game back with three to play, the Rays could certainly be in a worse spot. They need to sweep the Yankees to stand a chance to the playoffs, but that's what we were already assuming they needed to do anyway.
The Yanks will be throwing Noesi on Monday, Colon on Tuesday, and their pitcher for Wednesday is still TBA. Their 'pen got worked hard last night, so they could have a pretty bare-bones team for Monday's game.
Long day of baseball....I'm going to sleep. More on Sunday's game(s) in the morning.
