Jim Hickey Interview Concerning James Shields
"Well, first of all, the reason [Shields's BABIP is] down 81 points is that it was up considerably last year. I realize the .261 is down also, and that it’s about 40 points below league average, but do I think it’s sustainable? I do, because I don’t see anything going on out there that’s really out of the ordinary."

I wouldn't be surprised if every pitching coach had that sort of statistical data at hand
Still, though, Hickey seems incredibly well-spoken and intelligent here. Great interview.
