Yeah, whoops, I missed on posting the Canzler news.
Sorry about that.
I love Casey Fossum. Now try and take me seriously.

For cash? Seriously?
Wondering what the going rate is to buy a Canzler. I thought he was pretty valuable for a 25 yr old.

turns out the club thought of him as a AAAA and made what they could off him, kudos to them.

If he really is a DH only guy
How much value can he really have? ZIPs likes DanJo better and he at least comes with some serious sentimental value.
Not that much
Pronk insurance, I’d guess.

I mean this is pretty much the definition of trading a player for a bucket of balls, I can't imagine them getting six figures for Canzler.

At least he wasn't actually traded for 10 bats

Ehh I'd trade Davis for Trumbo as he suggested
Trumbo at least has an above average major league skill (power).
I don't see him posting a sub-300 OBP this year either
I can’t make up my mind if that would be a trade of two teams selling low to one another or not…

I don't think it would be buying low on Trumbo
His minor league career looks a lot like his major league stats last year, only before this season the only places he’d hit for serious power were serious hitters’ environments (Rancho and SLC). I wouldn’t be surprised even a little if his career looks like Jorge Cantu’s.

Troy Glaus seems like a decent comparable
Except his bb% was greater than 10% every year but his rookie year (8%)

I watched a few Bulls games last year
Russ did not look good defensively in those games.
I wish him luck.
Hopefully he destroys the other AL East teams and leaves the Rays alone.
