Isn't Friedman usually more tight-lipped about things like this?

I just never remembered Friedman ever talking in specifics like that. But I’m not going to pretend like I’ve seen every Friedman quote either.

I don’t think Friedman, at least over the past three years, has ever said anything definitive that wasn not blatantly obvious. He acknowledged Crawford would go. But I never remember him saying anything like this, and I don’t think he has ever “lied.”

Remember, it was Sternberg who said there would be no 7 million closers.

Yes, I am one of those and I like Friedman saying this the very next day. I still think one of Damon or Kotchman comes back and Friedman acquires 1 bat.
