Yankees Looking Ahead to 2013

Granderson in CF and BJ in RF?
Thereby continuing their tradition of awarding the more demanding position to the incumbent over a better qualified teammate?
Not to mention a better qualified incumbent in Gardner.
It might be inefficient, but not horribly wrong. Those guys should give you the value back in the corner outfield spot. It’s how Gardner and Crawford manage to consistently give the best defensive value in the game – they’re good center fielders playing up the spectrum in a spot that there skills transfer to perfectly. I’d be surprised if Upton didn’t do the same in right.
Always being the downer.

Nationals
They will save me from the nightmare of seeing Upton in pinstripes.
