TRY TO STOP ME, GUISE. IT'S PTRAYSBAY NOW.
So stoked for this game, you guys. I mean, it's going to be 80% Barcelona possession with Chelsea parking the bus in front of their goal, but still. DRAMA IS IN THE AIR.
Messi needs to rebound from two sub par performances (vs Chelsea last week, against Real Madrid this weekend) and the team needs to find another way through goal without him. It'll be really interesting to see how Pep lines them up. I'd roll with Alexis Sanchez up top with Messi in support -- that way they can get a goal sniffing, physical presence in the box without compromising their shape when Messi drops into midfield to get on the ball.
Chelsea will be dangerous on the break, though. Ramires' energy, Mata's guile and Drogba's power up can be devastating if they get the chance to counter. Hoping Pique is healthy for Barcelona. Mascherano is a terrific player, but he's over matched against Drogba.
Did I mention I am excited, you guys?
