Although Montgomery and Bowling Green are off for their All-Star breaks, but Hudson Valley and the GCL Rays fill the void and start their seasons. Check out the Rays Prospects depth chart to see who's playing where this summer.

AAA Durham Bulls (30-41)

Despite walking seven batters, Durham's pitching staff kept them in the game, but they eventually fell 2-1 in 11 innings. David Purcey, who always seemed to dominate the Rays, got the win in relief for Lehigh Valley. Lance Pendleton walked five batters in five innings, but he limited the IronPigs to one run because he only allowed two hits. His opponent, Tom Cochran, had a similar line with four walks in 5.1 innings but only allowing one run. Josh Lueke eventually allowed the winning run in the 11th without recording an out. Kevin Frandsen singled to lead off, advanced to second on a balk and scored on a Jason Pridie single. Jeff Keppinger was 0/1 with three walks as Durham's DH. Evan Longoria was off.

AA Montgomery Biscuits (0-0)

Montgomery went into the Southern League All-Star break with a 3-1 loss to Huntsville. All four runs were scored in the first two innings before the pitching staffs both settled in. Matt Buschmann took the loss even though he struck out double digit batters for the second time this season (and his career). He allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk in five innings. Hak-Ju Lee led off the first with a single and quickly stole second. He advanced to third on a passed ball and scored on a two out single by Tyler Bortnick. Unfortunately, that would be it for Montgomery's scoring. Lee would later add another single for a two hit game. Ryan Garko walked twice as Montgomery's DH. The Biscuits finish the first half with a 36-32 record, a handful of games behind playoff-bound Mobile.

High-A Charlotte Stone Crabs (0-0)

Charlotte enjoyed the last day of their All-Star break.

Low-A Bowling Green Hot Rods (0-0)

Bowling Green went into the Midwest League All-Star break with a 9-3 win to complete a sweep over Fort Wayne. Todd Glaesmann was the only Hot Rod that didn't reach base in their 14 hit outburst. Jake Hager certainly finished his half on a high note with a two run homer and two walk game. In June, he's batting well over .300 with a .834 OPS. Alejandro Segovia also homered in the 8th inning to give insurance for the Bowling Green bullpen. Roberto Gomez earned his 7th win on the season with a run allowed in five innings on just one hit, although he also walked four and only struck out one. Cameron Seitzer and Juniel Querecuto each had three hit games, two of which went for doubles for Seitzer. Josh Sale had a team high three RBI game.
