On Monday night, with the Rays not playing, Andrew Toles once again stole the spotlight. He has hit .394/.427/.592 so far this year. Richie Shaffer made his debut for the Hudson Valley Renegades, going 1-3.

Mikie Mahtook received a relatively surprising promotion to AA Montgomery. He hit .290/.358/.419 in High-A.

Todd Glaesmann was also promoted, presumably to open a roster spot at Bowling Green for Kes Carter. He was promoted to High-A Port Charlotte to take Mahtook's spot. In 91 games with Bowling Green, he hit .281/.338/.469. The promotion should provide more substance for his statistics after he repeated this year in Bowling Green.
