The Rays Tank: The offseason is a buzzin'

"Non-tender? Like, not liking someone on Tinder?" - Some non-baseball oriented person somewhere

Twas quite the busy Monday of tendering, non-tendering and deals going down. For a full list of non-tendered players, go here.

The rundown:

- Super Sam Fuld officially entered free agency, to the dismay of many Rays fans; with the team also non-tendering Wesley Wright. The Rays tendered the contracts of Jeremy Hellickson, Matt Joyce, Jose Lobaton, Jake McGee, David Price, Cesar Ramos and Sean Rodriguez.

- In former Rays news, both Scott Kazmir and Dioner Navarro garnered deals yesterday, with Navi making a return to the AL East. Kaz signed a two year, $22 million dollar deal with the Athletics while Navi snagged a two year, $8 million dollar contract with the Blue Jays, making catcher J.P. Arencibia a free agent. Elliot Johnson also became a free agent, as he was non-tendered by the Braves.

- Jim Johnson left the AL East, going to the Athletics in exchange for second baseman Jemile Weeks and a PTBNL. Billy Beane is one busy man this offseason, and Fangraphs took a look at the A's moves in the past few years.

- Jarrod Saltalamacchia received an offer from the Marlins, who are apparently in the mix along with the Red Sox and Twins as potential landing spots, with a decision expected to be made this week. In other Red Sox news, the market for Jacoby Ellsbury is "moving faster than expected." Where'll he go? Per Scott Boras 11 teams were interested in October, with the Cubs being rumored, but no one has been named yet.

- Yes, it's A-Rod, but the New York Mag's profile of Rodriguez and the Biogenesis debacle was extremely interesting and well done. Oh, and the Yankees don't think Robinson Cano is worth the $200 million he's requesting.

- Somewhat questionable move of the day, with input from Baseball Nation: the Nationals received Doug Fister from the Tigers in return for three not-so-exciting prospects.
