Advanced Class-A Charlotte Stone Crabs (0-2)
A non-existent offense put a serious blow in the Stone Crab's title hopes as they fell to Daytona 2-0 on Saturday. The Stone Crabs managed only five hits, none for extra bases, and two walks. Grayson Garvin allowed a run in the first inning as the Crab's starter, but he settled down to pitch three more scoreless innings. Lenny Linsky relieved him and gave up the second run. The Stone Crab's pitching allowed 10 hits, four of them doubles.
The Stone Crabs, with their backs to the wall, look to work their way back into the best of five series in their must-win game tomorrow. The Stone Crabs host the Cubs at 5:00.
