Evan Longoria Swings Babe Ruth's Bat

The face of the franchise paid a visit to Keith Olbermann in Times Square this week, for a visit to his show hosted on ESPN2.

During their discussion about the place of baseball history in the modern clubhouse, Evan Longoria had the unique opportunity to take a swing with none other than Babe Ruth's baseball bat.

Olbermann, a junkie for sports history, owns the artifact.

Longoria was impressed with the quality of the bat, and had difficulty handing it back to the host. He also discussed his own love for sports memorabilia, and the most recent piece he added to his collection during his last visit to New York City.
