Rays Poetry Thread

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

to soothe the soul

This morning's Tank has been filled with the sweet, sweet stylings of Dickie the SRQman, who has provided some quality, albeit rhythmically challenged, haikus:

Evan is a liar
always tweeting bout Duckys
Yoko ruined franchise

Perhaps this is just what the community needs to let it all out?

Our team fucking sucks
And comments on DRaysBay
are likewise awful

Quality opinions. Let me try:

Guyer can swipe bags
and play corner defense well
but Maddon says no

Ah, that feels good.

Some brushed back, but other were clearly inspired and wrote some accidental poetry along the way, like this expression featuring iambic meter:

Guys like Andy and Joe just want
to mollycoddle these guys all
the time. Ty Cobb and I prefer
a team full of ballplayers

looking to win a ball game.

*snaps*

I believe this is just what we need to add some good feelings after the Rays were swept by the Orioles.

So use this thread as your opportunity to vent, process, or for some good 'ol fashion catharsis.
