MLBTR Projects the Top 50 FAs

The Rays only show up once on the list, and near the bottom at that:

46. Masahide Kobayashi - Devil Rays. It wouldn't surprise anyone to see the Rays find a Japanese bargain. Kobayashi's deceptive delivery could result in a year or two of MLB success.

Sounds a bit like Okajima depending on how deceptive that delivery is, but I agree with Dierkes on that first line, I think the Rays will pluck at least one Japanese reliever this off-season, but my money is on the aforementioned Kazuo Fukumori.

here is a video showing Kobayashi imploding in the 9th inning of a tied game. Looks like he has a deceptive little leg kick, but otherwise doesnt seem that impressive. However, according to the video he was throwing 93-95 mph, so at least he has some heat. Looks like it has some decent sinking action too.
