Not This Again, Aybar Jailed
"Aybar is in jail since last week, and he could spend at least three more months in jail if he is convicted of domestic violence," said Jesus Fernandez Velez, the appeals court prosecutor in charge.
Good to see he's willing to take advantage of another chance. I won't take the sensationalist approach and assume him guilty, but I'm disappointed that he'd put himself in any situation that could result in an arrest, particularly a week and some from reporting to his job.

Re: Not This Again, Aybar Jailed
Remember that shortly before coming to the Rays Julio Lugo was implicated in a spousal abuse situation, but while here was a model citizen. It is not always cut and dried. And I do not see much call on the Phillies to cut Brett Myers. (Am I right that he also was implicated in something similar?)
