This goes out to all the early morning nerds. I stumbled upon this fun li'l tidbit before the sun rose: The Rays had the second worst BABIP in the league (tied at three decimals with the Giants), but had 1 of the league's only 9 teams with above average hitting (over a 100 wRC+, that is). Only two ways you can do that: (1) dingers and (2) great OBP skills.
