These Pretzels are Makin Me Thirsty!

Alright so the title had nothing to do with this post...but anyway, did anyone catch Baseball tonight earlier today?  They had a segment that asked the guys: "Who's representing the AL in this years World Series".  A few people wrote in and surprisingly (when the Red Sox and Yankees weren't being guessed), one fan claimed that the Rays would be this years Cinderella Story.  And even better, a Yankees fan stated that.  After that statement, and Steinbrenners "Up on my high horse about revenue" rants; I guess I'll root for the Yanks for one inning, late in the 8th, when the Rays are up 10-1.

Kruk made some statements about how it'll take a lot for the Rays to be a Cinderella story, but it's highly unlikely.  I don't remember the specifics, but either way, Knowing the Rays are turning heads is a great feeling; especially as an 11 yr Rays fan.

Rays Postseason?

Hopefully this doesn't jinx our playoff hopes this coming season, but I thought I'd just throw this out there:

If you look at the current standings in Spring Training, based off of AL/NL not Cactus and Grapefruit, its definitely a good sign.  If the World Series were to start today, and you chose the best two teams...

Atlanta vs. RAYS...yeaaa

Now I usually am the one to point out the most OBVIOUS ideas when it comes to baseball....but as a Rays fan...thats just a good feeling...
