When Stu walks up to the podium tommorow, we hope to erase close to a decade of blunders by the former brain trust who have been masquerading around Tampa calling themsleves a MLB franchise for way too long.
What can Mr. Sternberg and his partners provide thats the previous regime could not?
Its called a face that does not alienate the community and its fans. The best thing they can do is show the desire to win in what is called a small market.
Those who are familiar with what happens when the owner everybody hates leaves town. Just ask the Charlotte market who are proud of their NBA franchise now that they have Bob Johnson building a class organization.
We can't wait to see what the future holds for this area.
Lets just hope the people of Tampa and its surrounding areas goes out and and supports the "new" franchise.
