I can not state how valuable this guy will be having him back on this team. His defense is going to help the pitchers, and the young infielders so much. In the first inning yesterday alone, he saved what I thought was a definate bad throw and turned it into an out on a hit to the infield by Magglio Ordonez. It was a welcome sight to my eyes. Defense seems to go underrated at the first base position. You always put that big bat there usually, never really making it a priority at the position with the defense.
