Dennis Maffezzoli covers the Rays for the Herald Tribune.  I recently had a chance to ask Dennis some questions about the Rays.

DRAYS BAY : What your take on Delmon Young, should he start the year in Tampa or Montgomery?

Dennis Maffezzoli: Montgomery. Delmon lost some weight and looked very impressive during spring training. But spring training is what it is. There's no "book" on Delmon yet. He's going to have to learn to make adjustments on the fly. That might be difficult for a 19-year-old who has 513 at-bats in the minors. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is up before the end of the season. The big thing though is him staying up when first called, so he doesn't lose confidence, if he has to be sent back to the minors.
