Like Joey Gathwright and Matt Diaz last season, Jonny Gomes has recieved the Lou treatment. For some reason not known to me, Gomes has been not used since May 1 and is the odd man out when Colome is activated today. What is it with Lou and these young players. The track list goes on. We could add BJ Upton or Chad Gaudin to the list of young players who were not used properly when they did get their chance.
At one point are the kids that are ready going to get that much needed major league experience and show what they can do. Yes, Kazmir has gotten the shot. Rocco and Carl got there shots two years ago. Give me one other player who has gotten a legitimate chance to shine.
