One last thing

Before I avoid baseball for a day to relax a bit, here are a few words of what I hope is wisdom.

Tomorrow is another day, another game. Last year the the Yankees lost 22-0 to the Indians. The Red Sox lost Game 3 of the ALCS 19-8. Earlier this season the Rays lost 19-8 to the Yankees. After those nine innings are up the slate is wiped clean. Tomorrow the score will be 0-0 again. You never know what will happen the next day in baseball. The bullpen could suddenly find itself and be good the rest of the season. Is that likely? Not at all. It's another day though, it's tomorrow's performance that will matter then, not today's.

Until the 162nd game of the season is played there will always be hope for the next day.
